Daesh terror group was formed in the vacuum left after President Barack Obama and then secretary of state Hillary Clinton prematurely withdrew forces from Iraq, Republican presidential npominee Donald Trump said during the first US presidential debate.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Trump underscored that Clinton was a secretary of state, when Daesh emerged.

"ISIS [Daesh/Islamic State] formed in this vacuum [in Iraq] created by Barack Obama and Secretary Clinton," Trump stated on Monday evening. "You [Clinton] were secretary of state when it [Daesh] was a little infant. Not it’s in over 30 countries."
