Kirby said that although he had not seen the video, the United States opposes such bombastic and pugilistic rhetoric against the United States or any other forces that are fighting against Daesh (the Islamic State/IS).
The Syrian opposition, Kirby explained, is not a monolithic organization with one worldview.
On Monday, the Turkish general staff announced that the Ankara-backed Free Syrian Army freed 845 square kilometers (500 square miles) of Syrian territory from the Daesh militants, as part of the Euphrates Shield operation.
Daesh is a terrorist outfit banned in Russia, the United States and several countries around the world.
