Reasons Why Trump May Fail to Establish Good Relationship With Russia if Elected
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Trump has repeatedly said that he expects to maintain good relations with Russia and Putin if elected as the next US president. According to Trump, the Russia-US anti-terrorism cooperation could have led to the victory over Daesh terrorist group.

"[Trump]'s ignorance about Russian [President Vladimir] Putin are dangerous… This is just more of his loose talk, this kind of reckless pontificating that really doesn't have any substance to it. I think that if there are ways to do business with Russia, we should always be open. That was the reset accomplishment," Clinton told CNN television broadcaster in an interview on Sunday.

Clinton went on to accuse Russia of alleged interference in the US presidential campaign.

Hackers Behind DNC Email Attack Want to Put Blame on Russia - Assange
Russia has been mentioned by Clinton's campaign in light of the scandal surrounding the publication by the whistleblowing website WikiLeaks of almost 20,000 emails that revealed top officials of the Democratic National Committee deliberately worked to obstruct Bernie Sanders’ campaign and boost Clinton’s chances of becoming the party’s presidential nominee. Clinton's campaign claimed Russian hackers could be behind the leak, however, did not present any evidence. Russian officials, including President Vladimir Putin have dismissed the allegations as absurd.

"When [Vladimir] Putin came back [as president in 2012], he came back I think with the view that his highest goal had to be to prevent what he considers to be his neighborhood in East Central Europe all the way to Central Asia from falling under the European Union and American influence and he has tried to disrupt and interfere with democratic elections as he has even in our country attempted to do with this round of elections," Clinton claimed.
