MOSCOW (Sputnik) — He added that the servicemen would pay special attention to passage of waterbodies during the exercises.
"Complex practical exercises within the framework of large-scale field-type drills of reconnaissance units started at all the same time at eight ranges and training facilities of Eastern Military District located at Republic of Buryatia, Zabaikalsky Territory, Khabarovsk Territory, Primorsky Territory, Amur Region and Sakhalin Region," Alexander Gordeev said.
According to Gordeev, reconnaissance units would also practice use of advanced equipment, including drones, as well as cooperation with different arms of service.
