Int’l Meeting on Israel-Palestine to Take Place in New York in September
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — There is no information on the possibility of the trilateral meeting between the Russian President Vladimir Putin, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas in Moscow in the near future, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Monday.

On Sunday, media reported that Netanyahu and Abbas may hold talks in October in Moscow.

"There are no specifics on this point. You know that Moscow has pretty confidential and active relations with both the Israelis and the Palestinians. But there are no details yet," Peskov told journalists.

On June 3, Paris hosted an international conference aimed at resuming the stalled Israeli-Palestinian negotiations. No representatives of either Israel or Palestine were present at the event. In July, Israeli Ambassador to Russia Zvi Heifetz said that Tel Aviv insisted on direct talks with Palestine.
