Exploring Russia: Breathtaking Landscapes of Country's Farthest Corners

Russian photographers traveled to explore the most remote corners of the country in search of new places. The landscapes they find are charged with vital energy, inspire creativity and stimulate new beginnings. Their work as displayed at the exhibition "Russia — place of strength", which took place at the festival "My Planet. People's Planet."

Valaam Island is stunningly beautiful example of northern nature. Extraordinary landscapes with magnificent monasteries and chapels can be seen and in the picturesque bay of the Red Monastery the photographer was able to capture the amazing beauty of the sunset.
