Russia’s Natalia Vorobieva took silver in women’s freestyle 69kg wrestling at the Rio Olympics.

RIO DE JANEIRO (Sputnik) – Vorobieva lost to Japan’s Sara Dosho with a score of 3 to 1 on Wednesday.

Earlier, Russia’s Valeria Koblova took silver in women’s freestyle wrestling in the under 58kg category. Koblova lost to Japan’s Kaori Icho with a score of 3 to 1.

Russia currently has a total of 41 medals at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games — 12 golds, 14 silvers and 15 bronzes.

The 2016 Summer Olympic Games are being held in Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro from August 5 until August 21. Brazil is the first South American country to host the competition.
