UK Prime Minister Theresa May is seen favorably by more Brits than any other senior politician in the country, a new survey has revealed.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — August’s Politicalbetting/YouGov favorability ratings, published Monday, showed that May was Britain’s most popular politician, with 48 percent of respondents approving of her and 36 seeing her unfavorably.

The new Conservative leader was shown to hold the best net favorability rating of +12 percent, which is a difference between the number of favorable and unfavorable opinions. May's predecessor, David Cameron scored —27 despite coming third in terms of favorable views, with 30 percent seeing him positively.

UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson came second, with 41 percent having a favorable view of him and a net total of —5. He significantly outperformed Chancellor Philip Hammond, who is seen favorably by only 16 percent. Former finance chief George Osborne brought up the rear, being seen favorably by just 15 percent.
