Guantanamo Prisoners Transferred to UAE | 24-7 Chilcot Reading in Edinburgh

Fifteen prisoners from Guantanamo Bay are to be transferred to the United Arab Emirates, but how likely is it that President Obama can make good on his pledge to close the prison before leaving office? And, we visit the non-stop, 24/7 reading of the Iraq-Chilcot report that’s taking place at this year’s Edinburgh Festival.

Today’s main stories:  The Pentagon yesterday announced that they would be transferring fifteen Guantanamo Bay prisoners to the United Arab Emirates. With only sixty one prisoners remaining, could President Obama be one step closer to fulfilling his promise to close the US Military controlled prison in Cuba. We speak to Ibrahim Mohamoud from the UK human rights organization CAGE, and Elizabeth Beavers from Amnesty International.
