RIO DE JANEIRO (Sputnik) – US swimmers namely Conor Dwyer, Townley Haas, Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps completed the distance in seven minutes 00,66 seconds. The UK team won silver medals while the Japanese team – bronze ones.
Phelps has become the only 21-fold Olympic champion in the sports history. No other athlete has won even 10 Olympic gold medals.
