Russian Paralympic Athletes Will Not Compete In Rio - IPC Head
Earlier in the day, IPC President Philip Craven announced a decision to suspend Russian athletes from 2016 Rio Paralympics.

"We have just lodged an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). It will be considered in accordance with the established procedure. This is all Mr. Craven's black PR," Lev Seleznev told R-Sport.

In July, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) urged IPC to suspend Russian Paralympic team from the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro following a report of the WADA independent commission led by Canadian lawyer Richard McLaren, alleging that Russia had run a state-controlled doping program.

The 2016 Paralympics are scheduled to be held in Rio on September 7-18.
