Varoufakis & Soros, Mercosur is Leaderless, the Ayatollah’s Warning

The first topic of the week is the Defense Technical Information Center’s report that the US is at risk of losing all of its global hegemony by 2035.

Next up we take a look at how Al-Nusra is trying to rebrand itself as a member of the so-called “moderate opposition” in order to get in on any forthcoming peace deal in Syria. Following that, we then analyze the latest speech from the Ayatollah Khamenei in which he warned his countrymen against conducting any further deals with the US and also suggested that foreign businessmen are plotting to take over the country. For our second-last slot, we explain why one of the world’s largest trading blocs, Mercosur, is now leaderless, and how this fits in to American grand strategy towards Latin America. And finally, the main highlight of our episode this week is how former Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis published an article on George Soros’ website and declared the creation of a so-called “Progressive International” to fight against Hillary Clinton…and President Putin.
