Cool Guys in Cool Costumes Ready to Attend Rio Olympics
14:58 GMT 27.07.2016 (Updated: 15:23 GMT 27.07.2016) Alexander Volkov posted photos on Instagram of Russian volleyball players in the costumes which their country's delegation will wear on August 5 during the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
On July 27, the Russian Olympic delegation met with President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin. Tomorrow at 8 am local time (5 am GMT), the volleyball players and other Olympic competitors will go to Rio.
Unfortunately, the country's delegation of athletes decreased in size after the IOC gave the right to determinate lists of Russian players to international federations. Originally 387 athletes were bound for Rio, but this number has decreased by more than 100 people.
The list continues to dwindle because of new disqualifications.
