Six Ceasefire Violations Registered in Syria’s Damascus, Aleppo
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Russian center for Syrian reconciliation at the Hmeymim airbase registered a total of six violations of the ceasefire regime in Syria in the last 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said Monday.

"The cessation of hostilities in Syria has been respected in most of Syrian provinces. However, a total of six violations of the ceasefire regime have been registered in Damascus and Idlib provinces," the ministry said in a daily bulletin posted on its website.

The Russia-US brokered ceasefire regime in Syria came into force on February 27. Al-Nusra Front and Daesh terrorist groups, which are outlawed in Russia, are not part of the ceasefire deal.

"Within the last 24 hours, truce agreements have been reached with representatives of nine settlements in As-Suwayda and Latakia provinces, bringing the total number of settlements that have joined ceasefire to 218," the ministry also reported on its website.

According to the document, negotiations on joining ceasefire regime have been continued with field commanders of armed opposition units operating in Aleppo, Damascus, and Hama provinces.
