US Demands Syrian Rebels to Thoroughly Investigate Recent Child Beheading
“The US always supports some rebel groups which they call the opposition. It is not the opposition. The opposition believes in dialogue, can and is ready to start it… The US should stop supporting them.”

Creed further said that there is a need to reach a political solution and to wage war against terrorism instead of supporting the groups associated with terrorism.

Tarek Ahmad, a member of the Hmeymim group of internal Syrian opposition, also said that the United States should change their strategy of dealing with every so called military opposition group in Syria including the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and Jaish al-Islam.

The US needs to reconsider providing aid to all jihadist groups operating in Syria as they are committing atrocities against civilians on a daily basis, Ahmad told Sputnik on Friday.

The beheading of a child by the US-backed Nour al-Din al-Zenki rebel faction sparked outrage when the website Al Masdar News released a graphic video showing how the US-backed “moderate rebels” in Aleppo behead a 12-year-old boy that they reportedly captured near Handarat Refugee Camp in northern Aleppo.

The video shows the boy being decapitated by bearded fighters in the trunk of a pickup truck.

Another disturbing video shows a knife-wielding fighter beheading the child, who has been laid down on the trunk with his hands cuffed behind his back.

While shouting “Allahu Akbar,” the executioner holds up the child’s head then puts it down on his back.

US to Reconsider Aiding Syrian Rebel Group if Beheading of Child Confirmed
On Tuesday, the reports emerged that the US cut aid to the Syrian rebel group after becoming aware of the video. The US State Department promised “consequences” if the gruesome video turns out to be genuine.

The killing was also condemned by the opposition Syrian National Coalition, which expressed “shock at the horrific scenes” and insisted the faction to follow through on its pledge to investigate and punish the perpetrators.

"The National Coalition… does not condone any behavior that is contrary to the principles of the revolution and the aspirations of the Syrian people who came out to demand freedom, dignity and justice," the statement added.

The sickening beheading also caused outrage on Twitter with many users wondering whether the 'beheading of kids is part of the US fight for freedom and democracy."
