Earlier this week, the residents of Novosibirsk were in for a somewhat spooky experience when the city authorities decided to test the local public broadcast system during heavy rain.
But if you thought that a siren wailing amidst the rain and the fog was creepy enough, then you got another thing coming. A local resident named Konstantin Kovalenko took footage filmed during that test and used his computer graphic expertise to add a little extra to it – namely, a Martian tripod from War of the Worlds.
According to Russian netizens, the alien war machine fit perfectly into an already eerie scene.
