The whistleblowing website WikiLeaks said Tuesday it had suffered a "sustained attack" over the announcement of publication of documents of Turkey's political power structure and the country's leadership.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Monday, WikiLeaks promised to publish data on Turkey’s political power structure following the failed coup against Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"Our infrastructure is under sustained attack. #TurkeyPurge #Turkey… We are unsure of the true origin of the attack. The timing suggests a Turkish state power faction or its allies. We will prevail & publish," WikiLeaks tweeted.
