US Has Not Assessed Gulen Group’s Involvement in Attempted Coup in Turkey

The United States has not conducted an assessment to determine if the movement of cliric Fethullah Gulen was involved in the military coup in Turkey, US Department of State spokesperson Mark Toner said in a briefing on Monday.

US Received No Request for Extradition of Gulen to Turkey – White House
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Any extradition requests for Gulen from Turkey, Toner said, would have to be based on legal analysis and emotion and drama needs to be removed from the process.

"We [United States] have not made any assessment of Gulen’s group and their involvement in this attempted coup [in Turkey]," Toner stated.
