Situation Around WADA McLaren Report Undermines Probe's Credibility - Mutko
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Saturday, R-Sport obtained a copy of the letter sent by Head of the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) Travis Tygart to president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach in which he requested to suspend Russian Olympic and Paralympic Committees from participating in 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro on the basis of WADA report that has not been made public as yet.

"Involvement of US and Canadian anti-doping agencies runs contrary to the principles of the Olympic Charter and undermines trust to McLaren's [WADA] report before its disclosure.

That is why we are considering the opportunity of addressing to the IOC Ethics Commission with the issue in a bid to ensure strict observance of the procedures set for independent investigation," Zhukov said in an letter to IOC President Thomas Bach.
