Families of 7 Passengers of MH17 Plane File Suit Against Malaysia Airlines
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Negotiations between a team of the families' lawyers and the Malaysia Airlines concluded exactly two years after the crash, the Dutch NOS public broadcaster reported, citing a lawyer involved in the case.

Details of the compensation deal have not been disclosed.

Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 crashed with 298 people on board on July 17, 2014, in eastern Ukraine, while en route to Kuala Lumpur from Amsterdam, leaving no survivors. Kiev and independence supporters in Ukraine’s southeast have blamed each other for the downing of the MH17 plane.
