The Canadian authorities are very concerned about reports of a military coup in Turkey and urge order and safety in the country, Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs Stephane Dion said.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Dion made a statement on Saturday via Twitter.

"Very concerned about reports from Turkey: Urging calm, order, safety of all people in Turkey," Dion stated on Friday.
