NATO Adopts Declaration on Transatlantic Security at Warsaw Summit

NATO adopted the Warsaw Declaration on Transatlantic Security reiterating alliance's status as a source of stability, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said Saturday.

WARSAW (Sputnik) — NATO summit is taking place in the Polish capital on July 8-9.

"Over the last two days we have taken decisions to respond to crises beyond our borders by working with our partners around the world… We have just adopted the Warsaw Declaration on Transatlantic Security. This is a strong signal of our unity in an unpredictable world with challenges from the South and East, NATO remains an essential source of stability," Stoltenberg told reporters at the NATO summit in Warsaw.

Next NATO summit will take place in Brussels in 2017, the alliance's secretary general said.
