NEW DELHI (Sputnik) — External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj met her counterpart Peter Szijjarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, on Tuesday in Delhi.
Furthering a multifaceted bond.

"Sushma Swaraj thanked Hungary for its support to India's membership of MTCR and NSG. Both sides agreed that the tradition of high level visits should be maintained and there should be more Parliamentary exchanges," an official with the Indian Ministry of External Affairs told Sputnik.
Swaraj said that both countries should widen cooperation with respect to IT, education, innovation and R&D.
According to the External Affairs Ministry, "the Hungarian Foreign Minister listed four focus areas, such as the automotive industry, construction industry (especially affordable housing), water sanitation to assist the Clean India Mission and innovative industries."
Both foreign ministers discussed defense cooperation and Hungary's participation in Make in India. They also discussed the prospects of India-EU relations in the wake of Brexit.
