MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russia and Cuba will sign an agreement on cooperation in the field of peaceful nuclear energy, the Russian government said in a decree Monday, published on Russia's official legal information website.
Russia's Rosatom nuclear corporation and the Foreign Ministry have been instructed to hold talks with the Cuban side and sign the deal, which has already received preliminary approval from Havana.
