Ukraine's Prime Minister Groysman said that Kiev expects its National Bank to soften currency restrictions, which would have a positive effect on the country’s economy.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Kiev expects its National Bank to soften currency restrictions, which would have a positive effect on the country’s economy, Ukraine's Prime Minister Groysman told reporters on Thursday.

"We expect that the currency restrictions will be easened by the National Bank, and this will have a positive effect on the national economy," Groysman said in a speech at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.
