Italy's Eni Awarded Ghana Offshore Oil, Gas Exploration License - Statement
ST. PETERSBURG (Sputnik) — Rosneft would like to expand its cooperation with Eni practically on the entire process chain, including exploration, production, refining and technology development, Sechin told in an interviews with the Il Sole 24 ore business newspaper.

He said that there was a possibility of Eni's future involvement in Russia's large-scale extraction projects.

Rosneft's cooperation with Eni started in 2012, when the sides signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly explore fields in the Russian offshore reserves of the Barents and Black Seas, and to exchange technology and staff. The agreement also envisaged the participation of Rosneft in Eni international projects.

The following year, the two companies agreed to strengthen cooperation by signing a strategic agreement to develop trading and oil transportation opportunities
