According to the list's authors, the White Rabbit's chef Vladimir Mukhin is in the vanguard of a new wave of young Russian culinary talents. Known as much for his use of local, seasonal ingredients as for his charisma, Mukhin is making international waves.

The World`s 50 Best Restaurants list is compiled based on the views of chefs, restaurateurs, gourmands and restaurant critics from different countries, with the jury consisting of about 1,000 experts.
