Al-Hasan pleaded guilty to the charges of illicit consensual sex. It was also discovered that he had been drunk in a public place and was sentenced to 140 lashes.
The woman who was on holiday in Qatar has been held on charges of adulatory since March.
The unfair treatment of the victim has led to people speaking out against the arrest and have called for the woman to be released.
"She was arrested in March on suspicion of adultery, which means having sex outside marriage," lawyer Brian Lokollo told AFP.
The 22-year-old woman, who is identified just as "Laura" by Dutch media, has said that she was drugged prior to being raped and reported having realized she had been taken advantage of after she woke up in an unfamiliar flat.

The lady in question had been dancing in Doha and when she returned to her table she realized she had been drugged. After the first sip of her drink, the lady felt very unwell.
According to the Dutch ambassador to Qatar Yvette Burghgraef-van Eechoud, "Laura" will now be deported back to the Netherlands in the coming days once the ruling has been formalized.
Women in Qatar face daily discrimination in law and in practice. They are inadequately protected against when it comes to violence within the family and personal status laws continue to discriminate against women in relation to marriage, divorce, child custody, nationality and freedom of movement.
The victim's mother spoke out against the treatment that her daughter has had to undergo.
"It is totally inhuman, this is the first time my daughter had been on holiday without me," the woman's mother, Marian, told Dutch television NOS.

"She completely denies these accusations, she and her mother have also been pressured to have her marry her attacker," Lokollo said.
