Russia, Armenia Considering Draft Deal on Joint Air Defense System - CSTO
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The proposal aims to counteract new challenges and security threats and expected to be examined at the CSTO meeting this fall.

"The draft is almost agreed on," Bordyuzha said at the press conference after the meeting of CSTO member states' defense secretaries.

The CSTO is an intergovernmental military alliance of former Soviet states, which comprises Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan. Its key objective is to fight against "international terrorism and other nontraditional threats to security," according to its website.
