Hillary Clinton Leads in Puerto Rico Democratic Contest – Early Results

US presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton leads in the Puerto Rican primary contest, the early results of counting slightly over 1 percent of ballots showed.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The figures published Sunday by the Puerto Rican Democratic Party put Clinton in the front with 64.90 percent of votes. Her main rival, Bernie Sanders, polled 34.04 percent.

Only 1,416 ballots were counted as of 6:00 p.m. local time in the US unincorporated territory. A total of 67 delegates are at stake.
