MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Mistral-class helicopter carrier, built by France earlier for Russia but not delivered, will leave the French port of St. Nazaire on June 12 and will arrive in Egypt’s northern port of Alexandria on June 22, Youm7 newspaper reported Friday citing its own source.
France plans to deliver the second Mistral-class warship, which was also designed for Russia, to Egypt at the end of September 2016.
