TALLINN (Sputnik) — The Polish foreign minister stressed that the equality was supposed to be provided by the presence of NATO troops on the territory of the so-called Eastern Flank.
"I think that the important problem for NATO right now is that after enlargement of 1999, we still have two statuses of security: it's a different status of security for the older members of NATO and different status of security for those who joined NATO after 1999. And what we expect in Warsaw summit is that finally this summit will provide equal status of security for all member states," Waszczykowski told Lennart Meri Conference in the Estonian capital of Tallinn.
The Warsaw NATO Summit 2016 will tale place in the Polish capital on July 8 and 9.
