Barack Obama to Make Historic Visit to Hiroshima During Asia Trip
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — According to the group's press release, Obama's Asian trip is a good opportunity for nuclear disarmament promotion:

"It’s time for a US President to visit Hiroshima’s Peace Park in Japan to honor those who died during the atomic bombing and to affirm the goal of a nuclear weapons free world," Peace Action President Kevin Martin said in the release.

Obama has called for the abolition of nuclear weapons several times during his presidency.

Peace now demanded that Obama use the Hiroshima visit to push forward the nuclear disarmament agenda, such as announcing a reduction in the number of US nuclear warheads and canceling US plans to modernize its atomic arsenal.
