MOSCOW (Sputnik), Daria Chernyshova — A spokeswoman for the French National Police confirmed to Sputnik on Monday that two people were killed and one more was injured in a shooting in the southeastern French city of Grenoble.
Earlier in the day, media reported that the shooting at a local school took place soon after 10 a.m. local time (08:00 GMT).
"Yes, there are two dead and one injured," the spokeswoman said.
She added that there was no information about the progress of the operation to detain those responsible for the shooting.
