NATO has unilaterally frozen cooperation with Russia in all areas, including in countering terrorism, according to a source in the Russia Foreign Ministry.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The decision of NATO to unilaterally cut all cooperation with Moscow has not paid off, which prompted the alliance's initiative to hold the upcoming NATO-Russia Council meeting, a source in the Russia Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti on Saturday.

"The alliance has unilaterally frozen cooperation with Russia in all areas, including in countering terrorism… Events have shown that this policy of the alliance did not pay off and instead of solving problems it led to their worsening," the source said.
