The Petro Poroshenko Bloc and the People’s Front political parties can form a coalition in the Verkhovna Rada.

KIEV (Sputnik) – The Petro Poroshenko Bloc and the People’s Front political parties have reached the necessary number of votes to form a coalition in the Ukrainian Parliament, Poroshenko Bloc party member Oleksiy Honcharenko said Tuesday.

“Serhiy Mischenko joined the [Peter Poroshenko Bloc], making 226 [votes]!” Honcharenko said on his Facebook page.

Current Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk on Sunday announced his resignation.
