Hollande Urges Panama to Respond to French Tax Request on Offshore Papers
BERLIN (Sputnik) — On Sunday, Germany’s Sueddeutsche Zeitung revealed alleged involvement of a number of former and current world leaders in tax haven schemes using the information reportedly obtained in a data leak from Mossack Fonseca, a Panama firm that specializes in selling offshore companies.

According to Der Spiegel magazine, there are many indications that the Federal Printing Office has been receiving bribes through shell companies of Mossack Fonseca in South America to receive orders.

In 2014, the office's governing body, as well as the German Ministry of Finance received allegations on the involvement of Baumgartl in tax haven schemes, but Germany's authorities claimed the investigation had failed to find out any complaints.

The Federal Printing Office is responsible for printing banknotes, passports, visas, postage and excise stamps, as well as other documents.
