"Mr. Bogdanov invited Jarba and leaders of the Syria's Tomorrow movement to Moscow. Soon their visit to Moscow will take place, within a month," Khatib said.
Jarba announced the formation of the Syria's Tomorrow movement in Cairo in March on a platform of decentralized rule in Syria. He previously headed the Syrian National Coalition opposition group.
A statement published by the newly established movement said that Bogdanov and Khatib met in the Egyptian capital to discuss the "mechanisms of a political settlement in Syria."
"Pressure from Moscow is needed on the Syrian [government] to take measures to ensure the delivery of humanitarian supplies to various regions of the country in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 2268," Jarba said in the statement.
He further emphasized the call for the removal of Syrian President Bashar Assad from power at the next round of intra-Syrian talks expected to resume in Geneva next week.
Moscow and Damascus have maintained that Assad's fate is not on the agenda at ongoing negotiations.
