WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The United States will provide the Ukrainian government with new technology as a part of additional $335 million in security assistance, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said in an interview.
"Just during my visit here [in Washington, DC], we received a final approval of 335 million package," Poroshenko stated in an interview with Fox News on Monday evening. "A significant part of this package will be new technology."
The Ukrainian president noted that the US support for Ukraine "is getting better," and now the two countries have effective cooperation and joint training programs.
