Russia to Conduct First Space Launch From Vostochny Cosmodrome in April
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The first space launch from the new Vostochny space center in Russia's Far East has been scheduled for April 27, Russia's Federal Space Agency Roscosmos said Monday.

"The first launch from the Vostochny cosmodrome is planned on April 27, 2016," Roscosmos said in a statement.

According to the statement, a Soyuz-2.1a rocket will lift off from Vostochny to orbit a package of small research satellites, including the Aist-2D.
