Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated and extended best wishes to the Mehbooba Mufti-led government in Jammu and Kashmir and urged it to fulfil the dreams and aspirations of people of the state.

Fifty-six-year-old Mehbooba Mufti, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) president, took the oath as the first woman Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, after the party chose her on Thursday. Twenty-three Ministers were sworn in along with Ms. Mufti.
