An Air France passenger aircraft en route from Amsterdam to Riyadh made an emergency landing in the Egyptian capital of Cairo due to a technical issue, local media reported.

CAIRO (Sputnik) — A total of 193 passengers were on board the plane that was forced to perform the emergency landing, the Al-Yaum Al-Sabia newspaper said.

The issue has already been fixed and the aircraft will continue its flight to Saudi Arabia soon, the news outlet noted.
