Los Angeles Metro Station Evacuated as Police Spot 'Suspicious Package'
On Wednesday evening, police evacuated the platform and rerouted the trains at the Gold Line light rail station in Highland Park, in northeast Los Angeles, due to the "package" which had a clock on top of it and was plugged into an electrical socket at the station. A bomb squad was sent to the station.

After about two hours following the evacuation, the sheriff's department reported that no threat had been detected, and train connection would be restored soon.

Further details were not disclosed.
