MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Late on Sunday, some 800 passengers of the Polish Warsaw Modlin Airport were evacuated and four flights were redirected after receiving the bomb alert.
Polish police officers tracked the phone call and found a group of people, none of whom admitted to the crime, which prompted the law enforcement to detain the whole group, the Polskie Radio broadcaster said, citing local authorities.
The alleged criminals face up to eight years in prison, as well as fines to compensate the airlines for redirected and cancelled flights.
