Night Club Shooting in Mexico's Acapulco Kills Two

Two people were killed when unidentified gunmen entered a club in the Mexican city of Acapulco and opened fire, local media reported Saturday.

MEXICO CITY (Sputnik) – According to the Excelsior portal, the incident happened in one of the clubs near the coastline. Two young men entered the club and opened fire, killing a dancer and a waitress. Four others were wounded.

Acapulco de Juarez is the largest beach and health resort city in Mexico. It is also considered to be one of the key points involved in drug trafficking between South America and the United States.

Night club shootings take place occasionally in the city. In 2011, ten people were killed in a similar incident.
