WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California, is currently on a lockdown due to an active shooter situation, US Marine Corps Recruiting Station San Diego said in a Facebook message on Thursday.
"Attention: there is currently an active shooter aboard Naval Medical Center San Diego," the message stated. "Service members and their families are being asked to avoid the area."
