The death toll in multiple blasts in the Belgian capital of Brussels reached 13 and 35 seriously wounded, Belgium’s VRT broadcaster reported Tuesday.

Twin Explosions Hit Brussels Airport, Cause Unknown
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Preliminary disputed accounts had up to 11 dead in two explosions outside the Brussels Airport departure hall in the Zaventem municipality.

Medics confirmed at least 10 deaths that Belgian outlets described as a terrorist attack.

An emergency session chaired by Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel is underway as reports emerged of two metro stations in central Brussels being rocked by more explosions.
