A delegation of Syrian opposition from the High Negotiations Committee (HNC) intends to stay in Geneva for another round of intra-Syrian peace talks until March 24, an HNC spokesman said Sunday.

Damascus Delegation Arrives in Geneva to Take Part in Intra-Syrian Talks

GENEVA (Sputnik) – A new round of talks between the Syrian opposition and the country's government is scheduled to start on Monday.

"We are going to stay in Geneva until March 24. The date was set by [UN envoy] Staffan de Mistura himself," HNC spokesman Monzer Makhous told RIA Novosti.

Makhous could not exclude the possibility of disruption of the upcoming talks.
