The Sputnik international news agency and radio and the Yonhap news agency have signed an agreement, envisaging development of bilateral professional cooperation, joint projects, as well as information exchange on a broad range of topics.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The sides will pay special attention to information exchange on issues of bilateral relations of Russia and South Korea within the framework of this cooperation, as well as tourism, culture, arts, economy and business. They also agreed to provide any assistance possible to Sputnik and Yonhap correspondents on the territories of their countries.

The Yonhap information agency is the largest of its kind in South Korea. It is the main provider of media content in Korea, providing newspapers, broadcasters, internet portals and other media outlets, state institutions and commercial organizations with articles, photographs and other information in real-time.
