Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu criticized on Wednesday Palestine’s refusal to condemn a recent stabbing attack carried out by a Palestinian in Israel, which claimed the life of one foreigner and injured 10 more people.

TEL AVIV (Sputnik) — Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah party posted a cartoon on its Twitter calling the stabber a hero and a martyr, while Abbas refused to condemn the terror attack, according to Tel Aviv.

"This is wrong. This failure to condemn terrorism should be condemned itself by everyone in the international community," Netanyahu said at a joint press conference with US Vice President Joe Biden in Jerusalem as quoted by the Jerusalem Post.

The Israeli prime minister also expressed condolences to Biden over a US national, who was confirmed to have died in the attack on Tuesday, calling him a hero.

Some 30 Israelis and several foreigners have been killed in knife, gun or vehicle attacks, believed to be carried out mostly by Palestinian youths, since September 2015.
